AltoStar® Product Range

AltoStar® Automation System AM16 together with the AltoStar® Connect software is intended to be used in combination with the AltoStar® Purification Kit 1.5 and the AltoStar® Internal Control 1.5 for automated purification of nucleic acids and automated assay setup for in vitro diagnostic purposes. For real-time PCR choose ready to use reagents from a broad AltoStar® PCR kit portfolio.

AltoStar® Automation System AM16

Automate your Real-Time PCR infectious disease testing: DNA/RNA purification in parallel , Real-Time PCR setup and automated cycler programming. It allows to combine multiple assays and analyze several pathogens from one single sample. This flexible system automates the entire workflow – appropriate for high throughput.

AltoStar® Reagents

The AltoStar® PCR Kits 1.5 are configured for use with the CFX96™ Deep Well Real-Time PCR Detection System (IVD, Bio-Rad) in combination with the AltoStar® Automation System AM16, the AltoStar® Purification Kit 1.5 and the AltoStar® Internal Control 1.5. All reagent tubes are barcoded for automated identification.

AltoStar® Connect

The AltoStar® Connect software contains all extensions to control the AltoStar® AM16. The Time-saving state-of-art controlling software is a Windows™ based interface: user friendly with barcode reader, bidirectional LIMS interface and predefined purification protocols for best laboratory integration.

AltoStar® Detection

Product package for the detection part of the AltoStar® Automation System AM 16 workflow. The package consists of the Bio-Rad CFX96™ Deep Well Real-Time PCR Detection System, which is validated with the AltoStar® AM16 and all relevant accessories.

AltoStar® Equipment
